Fees & Billing

Please feel free to enquire with our friendly staff about our fees for Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics, when you book an appointment.

We have EFTPOS facilities, and we accept cash and most major credit cards.

Full payment is appreciated at the time of your visit.

All visits to our practice are out-patient services and therefore refundable in part by Medicare only. Medicare refunds will vary depending on how your family is currently positioned relative to the Medicare Safety Net threshold.

We have facilities for online Medicare claiming if you are registered for this, which means that your Medicare rebate will be refunded automatically to your nominated bank account.

Obstetrics

We will accept the majority of Health Funds’ Schedule Fee, which means ‘NO GAP’ for the delivery of your baby. Please confirm with our staff which health fund you are with.

Gynaecology

We can provide you with a quote for any operation you require, when you come for your appointment.

Medicare Rebates

Most services we provide attract a rebate from Medicare for your costs. Please note that the Medicare rebate is to help you cover the cost of medical care, and the amount of rebate you receive is determined by Medicare.

Medicare Safety Net

Registering for the Medicare Safety Net may be beneficial if you are pregnant or considering a procedure that may involve a stay in hospital for a night or more. This is a Federal Government program that limits the amount of out of pocket expenses once a certain threshold has been reached in a calendar year.
